1. About this policy
This cookie policy explains how aimentionz, a trading name of The Duplexity Group (Pty) Ltd (registration number 2026/785112/07), uses cookies and similar technologies on aimentionz.com and the aimentionz platform. It should be read alongside our privacy policy.
2. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They let a site remember your actions and preferences, keep you signed in and help us understand how the site is used. Similar technologies include pixels, tags and local storage, and this policy covers them too.
3. Cookies we use
| Type | What they do | Examples |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Keep the site and platform working and secure: login sessions, load balancing and remembering your consent choices. Always on. | Session and authentication cookies, consent preference, saved currency |
| Analytics | Help us understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it. | Google Analytics 4 (_ga, _ga_*) |
| Advertising | Help us measure and target our ads on other sites and platforms. | Meta Pixel (_fbp), Google Ads tags (_gcl_au) |
4. How long cookies last
Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser. Persistent cookies stay for a set period: Google Analytics cookies last up to 14 months, and advertising cookies typically last up to 3 months. GA4 data is retained for 14 months.
5. Your choices
UK, EU and South Africa. You will see a consent banner, and analytics and advertising cookies stay off until you accept them. We use Google Consent Mode, so Google tags respect your choice.
Everywhere else, including the US. You can turn off non-essential cookies at any time through the cookie settings in our footer.
Global Privacy Control. If your browser sends a GPC signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of advertising cookies and the “sharing” of your information for targeted advertising.
Browser settings. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the site or platform from working.
6. Changes and contact
We may update this policy when we change the cookies we use or the law changes. The date at the top shows the latest version.
